A Harey week at COTC

A Harey week at COTC

It's not every week you get to work along side one of your siblings.

Matthew is my eldest bro  (there's six of us al together) He's a hot shot theatre maker and creative producer.

One of his shows The Chronicles of Atom and Luna came on tour to Leeds this week. It seemed an opportunity too good to miss to do a Linley Family collab.

We've had Bek Palmers beautiful illustrations from the show displayed in the back section for a couple of weeks now.  She came for coffee on Tuesday and brought along her majestic Hare Puppet which features in  the show.  (She is an amazing  prop and puppet maker too)

James from Yorkshire Post came by on Wednesday whilst we had a shop full and caused complete chaos for half an hour, as we had to ask half of you to move tables so we could have "the light". I can only apologise for our terrible customer service!

Ellie from Carriageworks Leeds escaped the office on Thursday to look at the exhibition and gave the shop and the show a great plug on the theatre socials. Thank you Ellie.

Owen and the team have been epic this week running the shop as I've swanned about. We've been working on our outside catering offering recently and we fed the cast as they worked on their new show. Preliminary rehearsals taking place just down the road hosted by our friends and neighbours at Woodhouse Community Center.

Coffee shops are such an incredible means to bring diverse people together and thats exactly why I love them. Especially ours.

What a brilliant week.

Bek's exhibition will be in the shop till the end of Octobers and If you'd like to see the show this weekend I've attached the link below.
