We wanted to celebrate the remarkable transformation that has taken place in The Birdcage over the last 6 months, and what better way to celebrate than with a brand new coffee.

We began giving our favourite part of Woodhouse Moor some much needed love during lockdown. We started by painting the very tired Victorian fence. Since then we've created flower beds. The council installed picnic benches for us  and the whole area has now become a hub for our community. All the work has been carried out by volunteers and all the flowers have been funded by customers of the shop. It really is wonderful.

50p from every sale will go towards The Birdcage Community Garden Group which has been set up to help improve and maintain our favourite part of Woodhouse Moor.

And so is this coffee.  It's from Ethiopia and Tim picked it for its light and sweet flavour. It is perfect for filter coffee.
